Circuit Breakers
Circuit Breakers — Emergency Build & Same-Day Stock
When a 2,000A main trips on a Tuesday morning and the manufacturer quotes 22 weeks, the plant doesn’t have 22 weeks. We stock circuit breakers across every major frame and brand used in commercial and industrial power systems, and we ship them in 24 to 48 hours when factory channels can’t.
This collection covers molded case (MCCB), insulated case (ICCB), and low-voltage power circuit breakers (LVPCB / air circuit breakers) from 15A frames through 6,000A main switchgear units. Square D, Siemens, Eaton, GE, and ABB. Reconditioned, new-surplus, and tested units ready to ship the day you call.
Frame Classes We Stock
Circuit breakers split into three frame classes based on construction, interrupting rating, and how they sit in a distribution system. The right choice depends on amperage, the equipment it protects, and whether the breaker mounts in a panelboard, switchboard, or low-voltage switchgear lineup.
Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB) — 15A to 2,500A
MCCBs are the workhorses of commercial and light industrial distribution. The trip mechanism, contacts, and arc chutes are housed inside a molded insulating case, which keeps the footprint compact and the cost down compared with air-frame designs. We stock MCCBs across the full 15A to 2,500A range, both plug-in and bolt-on, fixed and adjustable trip.
Typical applications: panelboard branch protection, motor feeder protection, transformer secondary protection, generator output breakers, and main breakers in switchboards up to roughly 2,500A. For our commercial buyers this is the bulk of our shipped volume.
Brand frames we keep on the shelf:
- Square D: QO and QOB (plug-in branch), FA, FH, FY, HD, HG, HJ, HL frames (15–150A), JG and JJ (250A), KA and KH (400A), LA, LH, LX (600–800A), MA and MH (1,000–1,200A), PowerPact B, H, J, L, P, and R frames (modern replacement line)
- Siemens: BL and BQ (residential-style branch in commercial loadcenters), HID and HHID (high-interrupting branch), ED, FD, JD, LD, MD, ND, PD frames (Sentron molded case line, 15A–1,200A), SBJ, SBH, SCJ, SCH, SED, SEH, SFD, SFH (legacy Siemens-ITE high-AIC frames)
- Eaton / Cutler-Hammer: BR and CH (loadcenter branch), EHD, FD, HFD, JG, KD, LD, MDL frames, plus the Series C and Series G replacements (1–1,200A)
- GE: THQB, THQP, THHQB (loadcenter branch), TEY (bolt-on commercial branch), TED, TFJ, TFK, TJD, TJH, TJK, TKM, TPS frames through 1,200A, Spectra Series RMS9 replacements
- ABB: SACE Tmax T1 through T7 (15A–1,600A) covering ABB and the Formula molded case lines for the brands ABB now owns
Where a buyer specs a frame we don’t have in stock, we usually have a UL-listed equivalent ready to confirm before shipping.
Insulated Case Circuit Breakers (ICCB) — 800A to 5,000A
Insulated case breakers sit between molded case and full air-frame designs. The trip unit is electronic, the interrupting rating is higher than an MCCB of the same frame, and the breaker is typically drawout-mounted in a switchboard so it can be racked out for maintenance without de-energizing the entire bus. ICCBs are the standard main and tie breaker in modern commercial switchboards from roughly 1,200A through 5,000A.
Stock highlights:
- Square D PowerPact P and R frames — 250A through 2,500A, electronic Micrologic trip units, drawout or fixed-mount
- Siemens WL (Sentron WL) and SB — 800A through 5,000A, the standard ICCB in current Siemens panelboards and switchboards
- Eaton Magnum DS sensor-trip ICCB family and the older DS / DSL frames
- GE Entelliguard G and the legacy AKD-8 / WavePro lines
- ABB SACE Emax E1.2 through E6.2 — ABB’s current ICCB / air-frame hybrid line
ICCBs are among our heaviest emergency-call categories — a failed main on a hospital switchboard or data center service entrance stops revenue cold, and factory channels rarely move fast enough.
Low-Voltage Power Circuit Breakers (LVPCB / Air Circuit Breakers) — 800A to 6,000A
LVPCBs are the largest class — full air-frame, drawout-mounted, designed for switchgear lineups rated up to 6,000A and short-circuit withstands well above what an MCCB or ICCB can survive. These are the main and tie breakers in low-voltage switchgear at service entrances of hospitals, data centers, large industrial plants, and utilities. They’re also the longest-lead-time class from any factory, often quoted at 30+ weeks.
Brand families we stock:
- Square D / Schneider Masterpact NW and NT — the current Square D air-circuit-breaker line, 800A through 6,000A, with Micrologic 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0 trip units
- Siemens RL, RLE, and the newer 3WL family — the air-frame line that replaces the legacy ITE / Allis-Chalmers / Bull Dog breakers in older switchgear
- Eaton Magnum DS — the current Eaton LVPCB, 800A through 6,000A drawout
- GE AKR, AK, WavePro, and Entelliguard G — everything from the 1970s AKR-30 through the current Entelliguard line, including conversion kits where the original switchgear is still in service but the breaker is obsolete
- ABB SACE Emax 2 (E1.2 through E6.2) — ABB’s current air-frame line covering 630A through 6,300A
Whether you need an exact roll-in replacement for a 30-year-old switchgear assembly or a modern equivalent fitted to existing cell dimensions with a conversion cradle, we source both, cradle and secondary disconnects included.
Specialty Circuit Breakers
Beyond the three core frame classes we keep specialty inventory for the requests that don’t fit a standard branch or main.
Motor Protection Circuit Breakers
Motor circuit protectors (MCPs) are MCCB frames built with magnetic-only trip elements sized to coordinate with separate overload relays. We stock Square D PowerPact B, H, and J MCP versions, Eaton HMCP series, Siemens 3VA / 3VL motor frames, and GE motor circuit protectors covering the standard NEMA starter sizes 0 through 9.
Commercial GFCI and AFCI Breakers
Commercial-grade ground-fault protection and arc-fault protection in MCCB form — common in healthcare facilities, swimming-pool equipment rooms, kitchens, and any branch circuit that has to meet NEC personnel-protection or equipment-protection ground-fault rules. We stock Square D EPD and EGB, Siemens BLF and QF families, Eaton GFTCB, GFEP, and GHQ, and GE TEYL / TEYF equivalents in the standard 15A–60A branch range plus larger frames where required.
Reconditioned and Tested-As-New Breakers
For obsolete frames where no factory-new supply exists, we offer fully reconditioned breakers tested to PEARL (Professional Electrical Apparatus Recyclers League) standards. Every unit ships with primary and secondary injection test reports, contact-resistance readings, and an insulation-resistance certificate — the only practical path to keeping a 25-year-old switchboard energized.
Applications We Supply
Our customers are the people who get the call when a breaker fails and the plant stops:
- Electrical contractors running emergency service on commercial and industrial sites
- Facilities and plant managers with critical equipment behind a single breaker that just opened and won’t close
- Data center operations teams where N+1 redundancy is great in theory but the failed N still has to be replaced before the redundant feed becomes the new single point of failure
- Hospital and healthcare engineering teams dealing with essential-systems branch failures that have to be back on a code-compliant breaker the same day
- Industrial plant electricians at manufacturing, oil and gas, mining, and process sites where downtime is measured in five- or six-figure hourly losses
- Utility crews needing replacements for substation auxiliary breakers and customer-service breakers
- OEM panel builders and switchgear shaps filling gaps in their own bill of materials when a distributor can’t deliver in time for a customer’s ship date
We do not focus on residential branch panel work. Our customer is the contractor or facility team buying a 600A main and up, where the cost of downtime makes 24–48 hour delivery worth more than rock-bottom unit pricing.
Why Source Circuit Breakers from Verified Breakers
Manufacturer lead times for breakers above the 1,200A frame routinely run 20+ weeks. ICCB and LVPCB main breakers in the 2,500A–5,000A range are often quoted at 30 weeks or more — and that assumes nothing slips on the factory side, which lately is not a safe assumption.
We ship in 24 to 48 hours from stock. The supply chain we maintain — new-surplus inventory, full reconditioning capability in-house, and direct relationships across the brand families — means that almost any commercial or industrial breaker request can be filled within two business days from the time a quote is accepted.
Every breaker we ship is tested before it leaves: primary injection through the trip curve, secondary injection on electronic trip units, insulation resistance, contact resistance, and operational verification. Test reports ship with the breaker. Warranty terms apply to new, new-surplus, and reconditioned units alike.
Request a Quote on a Specific Circuit Breaker
If you know the catalog number, send it. If you have an old breaker in hand and need a like-for-like or an equivalent modern replacement, send a photo of the nameplate and we’ll match it. If you’re sourcing for a switchboard or panelboard build and need a full quote across multiple breakers, send the bill of materials.
Same-day quotes during business hours, immediate stock check, equivalent quoted and confirmed before any commitment if the exact frame isn’t on the shelf. Submit your request through the form on this page or call direct — the faster we see the spec, the faster the breaker ships.
